Biography

Sigismondo di Miceli, son of Francesco di Miceli and Giovanna Saccaro, marries Leonarda la Blanda (or “Blandino”), daughter of the late Antonino Blandino and the living Vincenza Plantana, and widow of Giuseppe Pino, on 17 February 1794 in Corleone.[1] Leonarda Baronello, a native of Cattolica Eraclea ("Catholica"), dies at the reported age of 64 on 22 July 1837 in Corleone. Sigismondo survives her.[2]

In 1807, Sigismondo di Miceli, 31 (b. 1776), his wife Leonarda, 28 (b. 1779), and sons Leoluca, 6 (b. 1801), and Bernardo, 3 (b. 1804), live on the street behind the church of Santa Maria.[3]

Leoluca marries Bernarda Pomara on 6 June 1830. Sigismondo and Leonarda are both living.[4]

Sigismondo di Miceli, the son of Francesco di Miceli and Giovanna Saccaro, is born on 17 April 1767 in Corleone and is baptized the next day. His godparents are Tommaso Guadagna and his wife, Carmela (Mondello).[5]
